Personal Antivirus Scam hit's The Web

Almost anyone who is infected with Personal Antivirus can tell of the bat that it’s a fake security client.   These types of programs are known as Smitfraud.  A trojan downloader program first infects the system then goes out and installs this fake client along with several other viruses.

To Remove Personal Antivirus can take a little bit of doing. This virus changes all the time and it can be hard for many people to remove all the traces.  This makes Personal Antivirus Removal that much harder.

One big issue with this client is it disables many Windows tools.   Having your Desktop high jacked is not that big of a deal because it doesn’t interfere with programs. The Task Manager is often disabled and that alone can make things harder when trying to remove this threat.

Many times Personal Antivirus will block real security clients.  It is also well known for blocking security updates to real clients.  This can make things very difficult for most people out there.

Users may also notice that they get re-directed all the time to bogus security websites.  Perhaps one of the worst parts of this is the constant fake security warnings.   These warnings are made to scare and trick people into purchasing the program.  When you see a message that says all your personal data is being accessed by an outside source then it’s easy to see how someone might get scared.  This is all fake and a scam.  Those errors are just there to scare you into purchasing the product.

There are many different removal guides out there for this strain.   Some are very well written and others are just pitching a product without offering any real solution.  Do your homework and research and if your infected with this the do expect it to take a little while to fully remove it.
